This will depend on which part of the window you choose. A good fit for the corner of your rear windshield is 4″-7″. If you’re going with the center of the top or bottom of your windshield, larger sizes from 6″-10″ look great!
What about that fun little bonus side window that some cars have? 3″-5″ decals are usually a good fit!
On the inside next to the touchpad is the perfect spot for a monogram! 3″-5″ decals are a good choice for this spot. On the outside, 4″-6″ decals fit great in the corner and 5″- 8″ decals are perfect for the center.
For the perfect fit, choose a 3″-5″ decal to personalize your planners and notebooks.
We wish we had more space on the back of our phones for pretty decals *sigh*. If the design you choose is taller than it is wide, you can choose a 3″ decal. If your design is wider than it is tall, a 2″ decal will do!
We love the look of a stand tall giraffe decal on a Yeti Rambler! 3″-4″ decals fit nicely.

Watch below to learn how to easily apply your decal to a water bottle, tumbler, or other curved surface.
Love our home state decal? Find it here!
1.) Use a gift card or ID to squeegee over the decal
2.) Trim around the edges of the design
3.) Peel the decal away from the backing paper
4.) Position the decal and stick down one end
5.) Starting at the “stuck” end, carefully squeegee down the rest of the decal
6.) Squeegee thoroughly over the rest of the decal
7.) Slowly peel away the transfer tape – if the decal does not stick, replace the transfer tape and re-squeegee
Pro-tip: To get the most life out of your decal, gently hand-wash instead of using the dishwasher. And do not microwave! Melted decals are not pretty…
Bonus pro-tip: If your decal has fine details (like our pineapple monograms) putting a coat of clear nail polish over the small pieces will protect them!
If you’re reading this, your decal just came in the mail (YAY!) and you CAN’T WAIT to put it on and show it off! Follow the steps in this video on how to apply a vinyl decal and you’ll be all set:
How to apply a decal
Squeegee (gift cards work great)
1.) Clean the surface with glass cleaner and dry with a paper towel
2.) Before peeling the decal, squeegee over it to ensure that it sticks to the clear transfer tape layer
3.) Slowly peel the clear transfer tape layer from the top corner. If the decal is not sticking to this layer, replace it and go back to step 2
4.) Carefully position the decal where you want it
5.) Gently press down one side of the decal, using your squeegee to evenly press down the remaining portion
6.) Squeegee thoroughly, then peel away the transfer tape. If the decal is not sticking to the surface, replace the transfer tape layer and re-squeegee
